We're be back at the Sheraton Parsippany for our hybrid Festival in-person and online July 21-24. If you purchased your VIP (Very In-Person) ticket already, we suggest booking the hotel ASAP to assure yourself of a space. Use our Room Block to get the best rate.
The Amuse Restaurant at the Sheraton is open daily for Breakfast from 7-11am. The Amuse bar opens at 4pm.
Festival Dining options: At Lunchtime, there will be a Grab & Go Table with assorted salads, sandwiches & wraps, fruit, drinks and other quick-grab items you can purchase as you're running to the Harp Tasting, Lunchtime concert or just want to have lunch with your friends.
Breakfast and Dinner Meal Plan: We've arranged for a separate dining area just for our people with our Meal Plan Tickets. No having to wait for table service in the restaurant. Limited food options, of course, to keep things simple and quick. Join up with your friends for a meal! See the menu and meal plan options below and pay in advance for your tickets (your meal tickets will be with your badge when you sign-in on-site at the festival).
There are 3 options on the pulldown menu below.
The hotel does not have a shuttle that goes to any of the area airports. We suggest that you fly into Newark International Airport. We have contacted State Shuttle which operates out of Newark (and JFK) and they have vans suitable for transporting you and your harp. They only need 24-hr notice on a reservation. Cost: $52 for a trip to the Sheraton Parsippany (includes tax & tip). 2 passengers, same trip: $65; 3 passengers $71. Call 1-800-427-3207 (if calling from outside the US, dial 973-347-3144). Drive time from Newark: about 30 minutes. Drive time from JFK: about 1 hour. See below for train/bus mass transit options. Uber and Lyft are also options.
The Sheraton has a shuttle that does pick-ups within a 5-mile radius of the hotel, Monday-Friday 7am-10am and Monday-Thursday 5pm-8pm. This includes the Morris Plains Train Station but only until 5pm and various points along Rt. 46. The hotel's main phone is (973) 515-2000. PLEASE CALL THEM TO CONFIRM PICK-UP LOCATIONS AND TIMES.
New Jersey is undeservedly the butt of a lot of cheap jokes. It's a lot more than funny accents (I guess that depends on who's listening), a throughway between Philadelphia and New York, oil refineries along the Jersey Turnpike and mobsters like Tony Soprano. If you can come for a few days before the festival or stay a few days afterwards there are plenty of wonderful sites and things to do in the surrounding area. If you're bringing a guest to the festival who will need something to do while you're in workshops all day, there are plenty of historic sites within a short distance of Parsippany. Due to covid-closure and restrictions, we advise checking out websites before making trips.
