About The Somerset Harp Festival

The Somerset Folk Harp Festival is an amazing 4-day conference celebrating the diversity of music, talent and experience of the folk harp world. Whether you want to focus on one style or type of music, solidify some specific skills, or try out something new, the breadth of this year’s workshop offerings is sure to expand your musical horizon. The festival has moved Online during this pandemic so we'll have a variety of video workshops plus "live" classes. Daily concerts will inspire you. Only 2 ticket-levels: All-Access and Limited-Time. See details for registration options.

No matter where you are in the world or what your playing level, there's something for everyone on our new online platform Somerset Online. We're going to stay connected this summer with our new online festival portal. We have plenty of music genre workshops from the Blues to Scandinavian music on all kinds of harps: single row harps, double-strung harps, cross-strung harps, historic harps, small harps.

Please Note: Somerset will be COMPLETELY ONLINE in 2021. We will not be at the Sheraton in Parsippany, NJ, as in pre-COVID times! All you'll need to attend the festival this year is an internet connection. If you can play videos on YouTube, you'll have no trouble attending the festival. Registered attendees will log into our web portal, Somersetharponline.com, to get access to all of the festival workshops and events. A laptop or tablet is the best way to view our content; you can attend from your phone but it's really not the best way to attend and view workshops. Half of our workshops will be pre-recorded videos and the other half will be presented "live" on Zoom and recorded for later replay on Somersetharponline.com. We also have 50+ workshops from our 2020 festival in our Archive. No matter where you are in the world, you can now attend the best harp festival on the planet. The festival is located wherever you are!
